Best Lauterbrunnen Hotels and Accommodation

Lauterbrunnen Switzerland

Situated in the heart of the Swiss Alps, Lauterbrunnen is impressively framed by the imposing mountainous peaks, rugged cliffs, and thundering waterfalls of the Lauterbrunnen Valley.

Known as a gateway for numerous mountain excursions, there’s plenty to keep you occupied but there’s also a serene side to the village which is surrounded by lush alpine meadows (listen carefully, and you might just hear the faint ring of a cowbell).

With plenty of things to do in Lauterbrunnen during both the winter and summer seasons, it is a popular spot for visitors. During winter, hikers and cross-country skiers traverse the valley, while others head for the pistes of the Jungfrau region or enjoy the thrill of a toboggan ride.

In summer, visitors have a vast array of mountain excursions to choose from. The alpine villages of Wengen and Mürren make great day trips and the larger holiday town of Interlaken is just 13 kilometres away.

If you’re planning a visit to Lauterbrunnen, you will need to find a place to stay. Luckily, there’s no shortage of accommodation on offer.

So, let’s check out a few of the best places to stay in Lauterbrunnen.
