How to get to the Rhine Falls

>> By car – The Rhine Falls can be reached from Schaffhausen in around 10 minutes, and from Zurich in 40 minutes. There’s a small car park on the southern bank (Schloss Laufen side of the river) and multiple parking areas on the northern bank (Schloss Worthli side).

>> By train – Travelling by train is a convenient way to reach the Rhine Falls. From Schaffhausen it is a 10-minute ride, from Zurich allow one hour, and it’s a two hour journey from Lucerne.

There are two stations close to the Rhine Falls. Neuhausen am Rheinfall station is located on the northern bank and Schloss Laufen am Rheinfall station is located on the southern bank. The falls can easily be reached on foot in just a few minutes from either station.
