Show Notes

Dennis mentions the following in this episode:

>> Lake Lej Marsch – a small lake in St. Moritz Bad (lower town) that is ideal for swimming.

>> Corviglia / Piz Nair – St. Moritz’s ‘home’ mountain Corviglia connects with Piz Nair to form the largest connecting ski area in the Engadine. To reach the summit, take the Chantarella funicular from St. Moritz to Corviglia, and then a cable car to Piz Nair.

>> Corvatsch – At 3,303 metres above sea level, Piz Corvatsch is the highest summit in the region. It can be reached by cable car from Surlej.

>> Diavolezza – For picturesque glacier views, Diavolezza is the place to be. You can reach the summit station (just under 3,000 metres), by cable car from Pontresina.

>> Muottas Muragl – the summit of Muottas Muragl, at 2,454 metres above sea level, offers outstanding views. The summit can be reached by funicular.

>> Engadiner Nusstorte – a cake made from nuts (usually walnuts), that is a specialty of Graubünden. It can be enjoyed in many cafes and restaurants in St. Moritz.

>> Bernina Express – a panoramic train that connects St. Moritz with Tirano in Italy.

>> Glacier Express – a panoramic train that connects St. Moritz with Zermatt.
