Hotel Eden Palace Au Lac
Distance from Montreux train station: 0.6 km / 0.4 miles
Hotel Eden Palace in Montreux is under half a mile (or a little more than half a kilometre) from the main train station. It’s another of those Belle Epoque properties Montreux does so well, and is also positioned right by the lake.

Montreux Visitor Tax
All visitors staying overnight in Montreux are required to pay a City Tax (or Visitor Tax). Nightly rates differ depending on the star rating of your accommodation, up to a maximum of CHF 9.50 per adult per night for 5-star accommodation.
In return for paying the City Tax, visitors will be provided with the Montreux Riviera Card which offers discounts on admission fees to many attractions, as well as free travel on local public transport.
The Visitor Tax is usually not included in the nightly tariff and must be paid directly to the hotel at check out.
