Traveling through Switzerland is made easier with the Berner Oberland Pass, and today’s episode is all about making the most of it.

I’m joined by Jana Amacher, who manages the Berner Oberland Pass. She updates us on the new features for 2025, including the extension of the pass’s availability throughout the year. Jana explains the added benefits, such as free travel on two scenic trains—the Luzern-Interlaken Express and the GoldenPass Express.

We also talk about some changes in the discounts for other excursions and what these changes mean for your travel plans.

Jana offers valuable advice on how to use the pass during the off-season, highlighting winter activities that are accessible with the pass. We cover everything from mountain excursions to lake cruises that are possible even in the colder months.

This episode is packed with practical information to help you plan your Swiss travels effectively, whether you’re looking for adventure or relaxation in the Bernese Oberland.
