>> Most Beautiful Villages in Switzerland – This association was created to recognise and highlight villages that have strong cultural, historical, artistic and gastronomic significance. Member villages must have a population under 2,000 (10,000 in the municipality). There are currently 56 member villages at the time of publication.

>> Swiss Historic Towns – Towns with a larger population (but no greater than 25,000 in the municipality) who also have significant history and distinctive architectural features (towers, gateways, fortifications, castles, etc.) can be admitted to this association. At the time of publication there are six member towns.
