Our Guest
Laura Lichtenberger has been involved in the Swiss tourism industry for many years. She started her career selling train tickets in Basel before moving to London to work for Switzerland Travel Centre. In this role she booked panoramic Swiss rail journeys for US clients.
Now, Laura is the Sales Manager for one of Switzerland’s panoramic train journeys, the Gotthard Panorama Express.
Gotthard Panorama Express info
The Gotthard Panorama Express operates once per day in each direction (excluding Mondays) between late April and late October. The journey includes a boat ride between Lucerne and Flüelen and a panoramic train ride between Flüelen and Lugano.
Regular ticket prices for the entire journey start from CHF 135 per adult. Buy your tickets here.
